The reproducing season for the Quokka has a tendency to happen in the cooler months in the middle of January and March, when a solitary joey is conceived after an incubation time of simply a month. Like all other marsupial infants, the joey figures out how to slither into its mother's pocket totally unaided, when it then joins itself to one of the female's teats. The Quokka children suckle from their mother in the pocket for around 6 months whilst they keep on developing. At this point, the joey develops surprisingly and starts to investigate its surroundings yet stays near to the female,going on sucking on her drain for in any event an alternate couple of months. In imprisonment however, rearing can occur throughout the entire year once the individual is develop enough to mate at around a year old.
